Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using a specialized app to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water the mop is using.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session and can lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
In addition to this in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. robot vacuums cheap were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. robot vacuum hoover into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
robot vacuum cleaner cheap has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
